ACS = American Chemical Society 美国化学学会，现已成为最大的科技学会，其所出版的期刊包括37种，内容涵盖24个主要的化学研究领域。
具体如下：ACS energy letters 重机理性探讨，这是ACS一惯的风格，性能可以不是那么好，比起ACS Nano上很多性能爆表的妖艳jian货来更多的是一些扎实的测试数据和和表征 想要中这个杂志个人认为很难，因为不光得有性能，还得有新“概念”的提出A Energy M 能源类文章的质量已经远远不输于A Mater老大哥了，各方面来说都很稳的一本期刊，表征，性能，新意要求都很高，一般都是NC,JACS,EES拒下来，偏材料偏性能的高水平成果会发在这上面，偶尔也会有几个水文关系户Energy E S 非常看“脸”的杂志，没发过这本杂志的人想中一次难于上青天，中过一次变熟人以后，即使是有点水的文章也可能能看得到。总体而言是质量比较高的一个杂志，上面性能一般会很不错，机理研究类的会少一些，毕竟相比材料类性能类文章，机理类不容易加引用。

JPHYSCHEM由美国化学会（ACS）创办，是物理化学领域非常著名的杂志，包括A/B/C/Letters四个子刊。这四个子刊侧重点不同，各有千秋，2011年的IF如下：JPHYSHEMA:946JPHYSCHEMB:696JPHYSCHEMC:805JPHYSCHEMLett:213在2012年中科院的大类分区“化学”中，JPCLett和JPCC是二区，JPCB和JPCA是三区，但是小类分区却让人很不解。JPCLett被分到了四个小类里，其中，“物理：原子、分子和化学物理”一区，“物理化学”二区，“材料科学：综合”二区，“纳米科技”二区。JPCC被分到了三个小类里，其中，“物理化学”三区，“材料科学：综合”二区，“纳米科技”三区。JPCB只被分到了一个小类里，“物理化学”三区。JPCA被分到了两个小类里，其中，“物理：原子、分子和化学物理”三区，“物理化学”三区。让人很不解的是JPCB，这么好的杂志竟然被划到了三区。而同类的PHYSCHEMCHEMPHYS（PCCP）2011年的IF是573，虽然IF比JPCB低，在大类分区里也是三区，但在小类“物理：原子、分子和化学物理”里是二区。JPCB和PCCP哪个档次更高，实力更强，影响力更大，大家都明白了。（1）JPCA，因子虽然比较低，但在化学物理、物理化学领域，特别是涉及到比较内核的研究，如分子动力学等，是比较公认的好期刊，reviewer特专业，仅仅是花架式，会被批的体无完肤的:P（2）JPCB，相对更为偏软物质，高分子等，没有JPCA内核，但属于分子更高层次，如聚集态、超分子等，偏机理、机制，但还有Macromolecules,SoftMatter的竞争，现在因子不高，编辑也在想办法，投稿难度增加。（3）JPCC，大家更为熟悉了吧，不多解释了，偏硬材料、纳米、功能材料，属于Nano领域的中档期刊。前两个期刊属于公认的中档期刊，作为代表作不丢人的。但现在ACS大力发展JPCL，因子上6了吧。但若非要比较，分个一二三四，我个人认为排序时是：A，B，C
