2、然后到中国知网搜每个方面的研究综述；比如《近十年王安忆研究综述》、《近十年先锋小说研究综述》等等，在这类综述性的文章里，你便可以非常清楚地知道，这个作家哪些方面被研究透了，哪些方面还有欠缺（这个论文作者一般都会说明），然后你就可以由此发现空白点。比如我一个同学写的是三言二拍中美男子形象研究，因为研究综述中提到，三言二拍中女性研究形象取得很大成就，但是男性形象研究则相对缓慢——她由此就找到突破口了；这个选题获得了老师的一致赞赏；
3、要善于搜索资料。比如一篇论文下面的注释中提到哪些论文哪些书，最好记下来，然后再去找，这样就省得浪费大量时间检索了。另外，论文一定要动笔下下去，不要只是空想，也不要担忧说好几千字怎么写得下来——只要你动笔了，慢慢的，你会发现门道，也会发现几千字其实不是问题。

文学源于现实高于现实，古代文学中的男女形象也脱离不了男耕女织的小农经济，同时又有许多封建等级制度的产物，和落后的迷信思想，如牛郎织女，洛神赋中的河神，山海经中的女娲，夸父 盘古，男性刚毅勤劳勇敢，女性柔美单纯率真...........后来阶级趋于复杂又有了士子书生，商女，军旅，游侠 隐士，农民英雄，宗教人物，等众多形象，如三国中的政客谋臣，史记中就有本记 世家 列传记录帝王 诸侯 名士的事迹，红楼梦讲官宦子弟，水浒讲草莽英雄，不能以概而论最好要有时代划分，和具体文学典籍结合具体的形象分析。
