文献检索(InformationRetrieval),是指将信息按一定的方式组织和存储起来,并根据信息用户的需要找出有关的信息过程,这是广义的信息检索。狭义的信息检索则仅指该过程的后半部分,即从信息集合中找出所需要的信息的过程,相当于人们通常所说的信息查寻(InformationSearch)。文献检索分为数据检索:以文献中的数据为对象的一种检索。如某公式、某化学分子式等。事实检索:以文献中的事实为对象,检索某一事物发生的时间、地点或过程文献检索:以文献为对象,查找某个课题的有关文献的一种检索。用检索标识与文献的存储标识相比,如果能够取得一致,就叫"匹配",就可得到"命中文献"。

以在cnki检索为例。用专业检索进行检索。检索表达式为 :JN="国医论坛"and KY="半夏泻心汤"检索出18条结果,即18篇文献。如图:
