流 行 与 时 代 ----服装流行的奥秘 内容摘要：随着对流行敏感人群的增加，流行被扩大，逐渐在社会上形成一种“新”的“势力”，这种“势力”会对当时社会成员产生一种“不模仿就意味保守和落后”的心理强制作用，使流行想更大范围扩大。那些一开始还接受不了新流行的人，这时也在从众心理的驱使下被动地开始参与流行。与此同时，新的流行又在寻找勃发，一刻不停地向未来走去。 关键词：流行现象 模仿 预测 时代特色 目录 一、流行的本质特征 1、流行与习惯 2、流行与模仿 3流行的要素 4 流行的周期性 二、流行的预测 三、流行的领导者 1西梅尔的“下滴论” 2下层文化革新论 3 大众选择论 四、最近几种流行剖析 1、“薄、透、露”中的裸露文化 2、名人效应与服饰流行 3、环保意识与“生态学热” 五、中国服装的发展 服饰文化作为人类社会文化的一个重要组成部分具有表征性特色，服饰文化的流行在诸多流行现象中表现尤为突出，它不仅是一种物质生活的流动、变迁和发展，而且反映着忍耐吗的世界观、价值观的转变。流行现象的主要媒介手段是与人类的模仿本能，从意义上讲，流行现象是与人类的历史一样久远的。 随着对流行敏感人群的增加，流行被扩大，逐渐在社会上形成一种“新”的“势力”，这种“势力”会对当时社会成员产生一种“不模仿就意味保守和落后”的心理强制作用，使流行想更大范围扩大。那些一开始还接受不了新流行的人，这时也在从众心理的驱使下被动地开始参与流行。与此同时，新的流行又在寻找勃发，一刻不停地向未来走去。 一、流行的本质特征 1、流行与习惯 流行本来具有的社会意义，在于其动摇和改变那使社会固定化的传统习惯和常规，社会是在习惯和流行这两种性质不同、相互对立的因素不断相互作用下，在不断调整“旧”与“新”的矛盾的过程中发展前进的，人们常常一方面具有在习惯中寻找安定的惯性心理同时又受喜新厌旧的求变心理的支配，习惯和流行也就是在这两种心理倾向的相互作用下规范制约着人类的欲求和行动，调和着社会固定化和流动化。正如韦伯所说：“流行是与永久的习惯相对立的，是以总是新的为特色的习惯” 2、流行与模仿 人的行动经常在某种意义上受周围人们的影响，模仿是模仿者与被模仿者之间存在同一的行动欲求时通过一方的刺激，另一方被诱惑而产生的。模仿大体可以分为直接模仿、间接模仿和创造模仿三种。直接模仿即原封不动地模仿，不假思索的模仿，这种模仿产生盲目的流行现象；间接模仿是指在一定程度上加入自己的意志和见解的模仿，这种模仿促使流行迅速扩大；创造模仿是指有主见、批判地部分模仿，这种模仿形成流行的个性化现象。总之，流行是根据模仿者的模仿态度来以不同的方式被人们接受和采用。 3流行的要素 形成流行现象的因素很多，主要有下列四种：A权威的B合理的C新奇的D美丽的。近世纪的服装流行多显示出A+C+D的组合倾向，即流行是以对权威的追随为中心开展的，流行的方向是自上而下的。但现代的流行往往是B+C+D的组合形式，因为现代社会的民主化，现代人重视合理的功利主义思想，使流行中开始排除权威因素的影响，流行的方向是水平扩散的。 4 流行的周期性 反复是一种自然规律，在人类的审美感觉中，反复就成了一个十分重要的因素，反复现象表现在流行中即流行的周期，每隔一定的时间就重复出现类似的流行现象，流行的周期性主要受社会环境的制约，特别是决定人类生活方式的变化的经济基础和与之相应的上层建筑直接左右着流行周期的长短。 日本著名服饰评论家大内顺子女士《流行与人》一书中对第二次世界大战后的流行进行了分析。她认为“流行似乎每五年就发生一次大变革，这好像和人类社会具有的持续力有关，大概人们也一定每个五年就要求时代有一种什么时代变化，而巧妙记录这些变化的时装就以各种心得的样式表现出来。可见流行与时代息息相通。” 二、流行的预测 现在，由于生活水平的提高和生活节奏的加快，服装的流行普遍受到人们的关注，如果能准确地预测流行，就可以避免浪费，可见流行的预测格外的重要。服装流行的预测是一个非常复杂的系统工程，要预测流行就必须首先研究社会内容的变化规律，探讨与其流行的关系，同时要认真研究过去的流行，总结个流行之间的因果关系和变化规律，这样才有可能更加清晰和准确地认识现在的流行，结合当时社会环境的变化趋势和动向，便可推测出来未来的流行。 流行的预测，从内容上可分为量的预测、质的预测和全新样式预测三个方面。量的预测和和质的预测都是在研究过去的流行基础上，根据流行的规律对未来的流行作出推测，而全新样式的预测则是对过去的流行不曾有的流行现象的推测，这些全新样式是随科技的发展和人们思想、意识、观念的变革而产生的，具有很强的时代特色。 三、流行的领导者 由于人们对流行现象的普遍关注，所以也就自然对流行的创始者和新潮的领导者到底是谁这个问题十分关心，许多人认为这个领导者是时装设计师，但也有人认为流行的领导者是那些敢于向传统习惯势力挑战的敢于带头穿新奇样式的人，还有一些人认为上层阶级是流行的领导者，可也有人认为真正掌握流行的领导权是一般大众。如此可真是仁者见仁，智者见智，各说不一，归纳起来代表性的学说有以下三种： 1西梅尔的“下滴论” 20世纪初德国社会学家[、新康德哲学家西梅尔认为流行的领导者是具有政治和经济实力的上层阶级，流行是通过下层阶级的模仿逐渐渗透和扩大整个下层社会，一至于使上下两个阶级间的界线变的模糊不清了，于是，上层阶级的人们又创造出能象征和表现其地位的新流行，以示区别。如此反复下去，这种反复运动一旦开始，就会永远进行下去，这显然是一种古典式的流行理论。 2下层文化革新论 美国社会学家布伦格在研究分析60年代以来美国社会时认为，现代社会中许多流行是从年轻人、黑人、蓝领阶级以及印第安人等“下位文化层”那里兴起的，也就是说下位文化层掌握了流行的领导权，上层社会的人们受到这种“反阶级、反文化、、反传统”的超越常识的新流行的冲击，被这种新奇的前卫的样式所标志的“年轻”和“新颖”的魅力所折服，逐渐承认和接受这种流行，这就形成一种自下而上的逆流现象。 3 大众选择论 美国社会学家布卢默激烈地批判了西梅尔的“下滴论”的封建主义思想，认为现代流行的领导权并非掌握在上层阶级手中，而是通过大众的选择才实现的。掌握流行的领导权的人从表面上看是创造流行样式的设计师或者是选择流行样式的商客们，但实际上他们也都是某一类消费者或某一个消费层次的代理人，只有消费者集团的选择才能形成真正意义上的流行。 其实，以上三种关于流行领导者的学说各自的流行环境有着密切关系，也就是说由于人们所处的社会环境不同，各自的文化、教养和生活方式的制约，在这个多样化的时代里流行也变得相当复杂，现在，在各个不同的国度和地区中，以上三种学说所描述的现象也是以不同的比例混合出现在人们的生活当中。 四、最近几种流行剖析 1、“薄、透、露”中的裸露文化 进入90年代以来，随着全球环境保护意识、生态平衡意识不断增强，国际舞台上“反朴归真”的设计倾向日益盛行，作为表现手法之一。薄、透、露的素材大量被采用，大胆裸露的新的“反文明”的朝着人类本性回归的性感设计屡见不鲜，而且愈演愈烈。一种20世纪从为见过的时装裸露文化向全球蔓延。 裸露文化首先代表着进入发达的工业化社会的人们企图寻找那已经失去的过去，向原始的自然人体回归的一种倾向和行为方式。其次，用“薄、透、露”的素材来表现人体的魅力，显示出从新衣料的开发上寻求出路的一种设计的倾向。另外，进入20世纪以来，服装流行的总趋势是从传统的重装向轻装、从装饰过剩向简洁朴素、从传统限制行动自由的正装向穿着舒适便于生活行动的休闲装方向变化，在这样的大潮流中，不断地裸露肢体无疑发挥着积极作用。但是，我们必须看到，现在许多过激的前卫派设计中，也不无摸偶种程度上的颓废色彩，有的是对现实社会的不满。我们应正确地，历史地认识这种现象，为美化我国人民的衣生活服务。 2、名人效应与服饰流行 从古至今，上层社会人们的穿戴，特别是名人的服饰打扮，的确对服饰的流行曾经发挥过并且仍然在不同程度上发挥着不可忽视的社会作用。对于名人穿戴的模仿，属于“权威模仿”的范畴，一般表现为处于社会下层的人对上层集团的模仿，总之，人们通过这种效仿，在心理上获得与共同的快尉和满足。 从积极一样上看，利用人们尊崇名人的社会心理，适时地，适当地，正确地引导人们朝着一定的方向健康合理地消费，创造名人效应对于服装产业及服装市场有一定的促进作用。但是，必须指出由模仿名人而引起的流行风潮也常给社会带来恶劣的影响。一味地追求名牌，仿效名人的奢华生活，必然导致拜金主义和消费过剩的倾向，因此，我们既要有效地利用其积极一面，发展生产，活跃市场，不断提高人们的物质生活和精神生活，同时又要注意克服其负面效应。 3、环保意识与“生态学热” 工业革命给人类带来了许多方便和福祉，改变了人们的生活模式和价值观念，促进了人类社会的发展。但是，高度发达的工业社会也以同样大的反作用力给人类生态环境以巨大的破坏。于是，国际性的环境保护组织成立，6月5日被定位世界环境日，各国人民都开始自发地反省和制止人为破坏生态平衡的想象，时装从来就是社会变化的晴雨表，“生态学热”这一主题就是在这样的历史背景下产生和形成的 现在，人们在环境保护意识的影响下，出现了反对浪费资源，反对过度消费，回归自然的消费倾向，“重新认识自我”和“保护人类的生存环境”及“资源回收再利用”成为人们的共识，这是“生态学热”这一潮流得以发展和普及的原动力。 目前“生态学热”这一主题在时装界方兴未艾，从某种角度看，它将引发一场人类服饰文明的深层革命 五、中国服装的发展 20世纪以来，西方世界正处于萧条的窘境之中，而我们这个东方文明古国，历经沧桑，则正处于政治开放，经济持续增长，国泰民安，蓬勃发展的好时代，与其他行业一样，停滞了若干年的中国服装业，也以惊人的速度向国际水准靠拢，一大批年轻的才华横溢的中国设计师已经登上历史舞台。 当然，中国服装走向世界绝不是轻而易举的事，我们面临的困难很多，激烈竞争的国际市场更不容许我们盲目乐观，中国服装要走向世界，必须创出自己的名牌。对于“名牌效应”国人已有所领教，中国出口服装之所以在国际市场上缺乏竞争力，除了设计水平和产品质量等原因外，没有一个叫得响的品牌是重大的缺陷。 一个现代服装企业要想在激烈的市场竞争中求得生存并取得长足发展，作为企业形象战略有两个基本要素：其一是企业的个性，其二是企业对时代脉搏的把握。而能把握这两点的关键人物就是设计师。为此，无论是服装企业自身，还是有关政府职能部门和社会舆论都应从各个方面为我们自己的设计师脱颖而出创造一个宽松的内部环境。只有这样，我们才有可能在国际市场上摆脱“地摊货”的落后形象。我们坚信：只要中国服装设计师跃上世界时装舞台，中国服装走向世界的明媚春天即将到来。
