Nowadays, we can often hear the discussion whether buying cars should be encouraged. Some people suggest that we should buy cars. But others claim that driving cars is not a wise idea. As far as I am concerned, I am in favor of the latter opinion.
To begin with, there are few parking lots, so the streets are made narrower by the cars parked along the roads. For example, my father could not find any place to park when we went to the supermarket.
Moreover, many drivers do not obey regulations, because people do not pay enough attention to the rule of traffic. For instance, I often see people cross the road when the traffic lights are still red.
Last but not least, the growth of new roads’construction is usually slower than the increasing number of cars. For example, the length of the road has gone up by 20% in 2002. However, the number of cars increased by 50% in the meantime.
From what have been discussed above, we could draw a conclusion that encouraging buying cars is not fit for today.

所谓的对常识的知之，并非仅仅为热则却衣寒则添衣的自然反射，而是对自然存在的用心观察。没有这用心，何来常识？没有常识，何以行之？不得而行之，必遭祸患。譬如之于人，了解交通拥挤之时间，于约会便不会误时；又譬如拿破仑不知俄 国之地广与冬天之寒冷，便因俄 国坚壁清野而为滑铁卢之役埋下伏笔。
所以对于常识，要知之。
所谓的对常识的行之，不仅是于知之之后的体证，还是生活的必需，之所以要知且行，系因为知易而行难。行难，故特以行之。常识的知之，是困则眠、疲则休息，是诸葛顺势三分天下，是刘邦知楚强汉弱而强赴鸿门。对常识的行之，是顺应自然、顺时而动，故可避害趋利，所以才有一觉醒来的精神，才有汉朝天下。
所以对于常识，要行之。
至于对于常识的思之，那便是在知行合一后更高的要求。正因为常识之常，所以无形中被我们忽略、习惯，然世间万物莫不在变易中永恒，拘泥而行自己不适合，若死守既得，便永无进步可言。故汤之盘铭曰：“苟日新、日日新、又日新”；《康诏》曰：“作新民”；曾子曰：“君子无所不用其极”；因为对常识的思之，爱氏提出了相对论，玻尔提出了量子力学；之于历史的，不正是由于对意识形态的思之与变革，再知而行之，才有三十年改革开放而至于今日之中华崛起？
“易与天地准”，也正是凭借常识，凭借与常识同行，我们维系了一个旷古的文明，然而无论是生活还是发展，不知常识无语进步，不行常识无以趋利避患，不思常识却也无以百尺竿头更进一步。
于是，不妨化用子思的“慎思之，明辨之，笃行之”而说，对于常识，我们要知之、行之、思之，由是，则有泰然的生活与不断的前进。
有人笑说：“门缝里看人，把人看扁了。而当今的社会，却是门缝里看人，把人看远了。”然而，笑声背后的辛酸，却不仅仅是逐渐淡漠的邻里关系，更是人心铸成的一道道心门，将人与人之间近在咫尺之心灵隔得远在天涯，隔出了“事不关己，高高挂起”，隔出了所谓的安全感，也隔出了一个冰冷的世界。
然而，没有人是一座孤岛，社会中的你我总有着千丝万缕的联系，只有每个人都点燃心中善的火焰，顺手的小事，平常的爱心，便能拯救整个社会的明天。
顺手的小事不一定小，别人的事也不一定只属于别人，倘若修船工不愿为别人的船补一下多余的洞，那如果划船的孩子中也有一个是他自己的掌上明珠，他又怎能不因没有顺手做小事而后悔莫及？
顺手的小事，彰显的不只是一种向善的习惯，更是道德社会的脊梁。被“彭宇案”“许云鹤案”吓怕了的十位路人，竟忍心看着可怜的小悦悦遭受两次车轮碾轧之苦，却不敢只是顺手地将她拉到一边。
冰冷的雨滴拍打的不仅仅是小悦悦摔倒下的那块土地，更是十几亿国人的冷漠之心。还好，还好有人愿意伸手，还好有人愿意做这样一件顺手的小事。还好有善良的拾荒阿婆陈贤妹愿意拉小悦悦一把，她这一拉，不仅仅是将小悦悦拉出濒临死亡的边缘，更是将我们这些旁观者拉出道德滑坡的冷漠世界。

记忆是时间长河两岸的繁花，时间不仅不曾让它们风化，还给了它们滋养，让它们愈加美丽。
还记得一人一马的邮路上的王顺友，教我敬业；还记得为友守墓30年的陈健，教我守诺；还记得舞出千手观音的邰丽华，教我不屈；还记得生命中无数帮助过我的人，教会我爱......他们都是记忆长河旁的花，用馨香沐浴着我。他们教给我的，都成了我一生的财富，它们不会被风化，而会随时间的风、时间的流水传到心底，浸润全身，恩泽我的一生。
这些让我感动，让我成长的记忆永远不会被风化。相反，它们会在时间长河的两岸开满迷人的花，装点我的人生。

有一次，英语考试，试卷很简单，我很快就做完了，并飞快地检查了一遍，发现没什么错误，就草草了事交卷了。
第二天，英语课，老师开始宣布成绩，老师总结了一下，说这次考试全班考得都很好，个性是考满分的同学占了半班同学。听了这话，原本自信满满的我更加得意了。然后，老师就开始报分数了，已经报了20个满分同学的名字了，可还是没我，我开始着急起来。之后，老师又开始报90分以上同学的名字，第一个就报到了我，99分。我真怀疑自我的耳朵听错了，可试卷发下来一看，有个单词少加了个“s”扣了一分。唉，我真粗心呀，和100分就这样擦肩而过了。
甜
“包饺子了!包饺子了!”当一声声叫喊从教室里传出来时，你就明白又要搞班会活动了。这是包饺子活动，同学们有的带来了饺子皮，有的带馅，大家可高兴了。看!这边的几位同学已经开始包了，他们包出了各种不一样形状的饺子，有肉骨头形的，有星星形的，有宝塔形的，有蝴蝶结形的……大家都认真地包着。
包好后，老师把饺子拿到食堂去煮，我们在教室里急切地等待着，这时侯，时间好象停住了似的，一分钟、二分钟……十分钟，哎!老师最后回来了。吃着热气腾腾的饺子，我们心里别提有多高兴了，因为这是我们自我亲手做的饺子。
苦
记得四年级的时侯，我们全班一齐去斯宅体验生活。去的那天是星期天下午，阳光明媚，但是我的情绪却高兴不起来。该上车了，我依依不舍地和爸爸妈妈告别，老爸老妈也是千叮咛万嘱咐。一路上，我都有点伤感，因为这是我第一次离开父母去过独立的生活，虽然只是短短的七天，但对我来说还是觉得漫长啊!想到这七天里吃、喝、拉、撒等许多事情都要自我去解决，还有这七天里晚上睡觉没有爸妈给自我盖被子会不会感冒?乡下的晚上会有老鼠吗?想着这些我就觉得悲从中来。

说到这件事，得先从我的牙齿谈起。我的牙齿长得不好，东一颗，西一颗，而且门牙个性大，一颗门牙有两颗普通的牙齿那么大。也不明白是为什么，是因为我老爸的牙齿长得不好的遗传或自身问题?所以医生说要拔牙。
以前，我也见过别人拔牙，那时侯，我已经对拔牙产生了恐惧，可没想到，自我也要拔牙。而且在拔牙后还要带上牙套，我想那会多痛苦啊!
