四级阅读在四级整体分值中占比35%。阅读分为三个部分：

选词填空（占整体分值5%）

规则：选词填空是从给出的十五个单词中选择十个填入给定的空中，考察的词有名词、动词、形容词、副词。对词汇的用法和搭配有很高的要求。

段落匹配（占整体分值10%）

There are two factors which determine an individual's intelligence. The first is the sort of brain he is born with. Human brains differ considerably , some being more capable than others. But no matter how good a brain he has to begin with, an individual will have a low order of intelligence unless he has opportunities to learn. Being identical, the twins had identical brains at birth, and their growth processes were the same. When the twins were three months old, their parents died, and they were placed in separate foster(抚养) homes. Peter was raised by parents of low intelligence in an isolated community with poor educational opportunities. Mark was reared in the home of well-to-do parents who had been to college. He was read to as a child, sent to good schools, and given every opportunity to be stimulated intellectually. This environmental difference continued until the twins were in their late teens, when they were given tests to measure their intelligence. Mark's I. Q. was 125, twenty-five points higher than the average and fully forty points higher than his identical brother. Given equal opportunities, the twins, having identical brains, would have tested at roughly the same level.

如何做四级英语阅读理解？

第一篇阅读理解是选词填空形式的，首先我们可以快速的浏览一下文章，大致掌握一下文章内容，然后在开始填空选择词的时候，一定要根据语法先确定这个空要填的词是什么形式，是单数还是复数，是动词还是名词，然后在词框里先选出几个符合形式的词语选项来。

然后再根据文意，从你选出的几个词里在进行排除。根据文章意思和上下文去排除和选择与文章相和的词语。有的词的意思比较抽象，所以有的空就找不出合适的词，这是我们语言理解句子也要更意化一下，就是要去体会的这个句子的意思。这样可能会更好一些。

第二个是这个段落匹配，这个我觉得不用先看一遍，因为文章也很长，看下来需要很久。所以就直接看一段，然后就去后面找哪个选项的概述适合这一段就行，写这道题的时候就是注意细心一点就行，这道题相对来说还是比较简单的。
