2.安徒生跟老友断交
丹麦著名童话作家安徒生跟德国的奥古斯登堡原来是要好的老朋友。
1848年普鲁士侵入丹麦的国境，这种侵略行为引起安徒生的极大愤怒。四年后，他到德国去旅行。许多德国朋友涌到车站去迎接他。一位朋友说：“奥古斯登堡公爵夫妇在家里等您，希望您去和他们会见。”“我不愿去见他们，奥古斯登堡参加了四年前普鲁士侵丹麦的战争，我怎么能去看这家人呢?”安徒生愤怒地说着。从此，两位老朋友断交了。
3.“把我的心脏带回祖国”
波兰著名作曲家钢琴家萧邦，19岁从音乐学院毕业时已经很有名气了。后来他决定出国深造。在朋友举行的.送别晚会上，朋友们赠送给他一只装满祖国泥土的银瓶。这只银瓶一直伴随着他19年。1849年秋天，萧邦病重垂危。临终前，他嘱咐从华沙赶来的姐姐：“波兰反动政府不会允许将我的遗体运回华沙，就把我的心脏带回祖国去。”
