Information management system is typical of the information management system, including its main development background database creation and maintenance and the front-end application development aspects. Regarding the former requirement to establish consistency and integrity of the database-and data security for good. And the latter demanded the application functions, and easy-to-use features. Therefore, I combined information management systems to meet the requirements of Visual Foxpro database management system VFP language theory, VFP database technology for deeper study and application. Completion of the main management information system requirements analysis, functional modules, and thus design a database structure and application procedures. The result of running the system proves, I designed the system to meet the lending, information library staff and senior management of three requirements. System Development Company of Microsoft Visual Foxpro 6.0. use its powerful visualization functions and interface to the database, a prototype structure first, and gradually increase the functional, eventually meet the demand. System widely used SQL query, friendly interface and more powerful. Deficiencies in the data access when a large volume, the result of the decline in performance and not conducive to effective data sharing Improvement in the future should consider using SQL Server as a database, visit solution speed and data sharing issues. Performance of the system sought to easy-to-use, high scalability and maintainability.
